Singer/songwriter based in Burlington, VT, and originally from South Dakota. My style started out more acoustic and folky but I'm beginning to branch out into other genres, weaving the threads of folk and even hints of country into more alternative/indie/electronic vibes. I'm just starting out on electric guitar, (started on acoustic guitar) and play well enough to back up myself on a pretty basic level. Vocals are my strong suit, and I love harmonizing. I like to inspire and awaken people through my music, drawing interesting connections between the natural world and our hearts and giving voice to those areas of gray that are often uncomfortable in order to begin to be able to work with them. All of this, ultimately, helps me grow as a person and connect with life and people on deeper levels, which is where I find joy in it all.
