We are a three piece rock band from Pittsburgh, PA. We don't adhere to the traditions of musical genres as we transcend through four and sometimes five genres in one song. The three of us are all multi-instrumentalists and have a tendency to switch instruments mid-set and even occasionally throw in an improvisational jam. Our drummer is primarily jazz oriented, with folk and blues guitar and bass lines to add soul and twang atop rock and pop undertones. Dayshift continues to push the boundaries of genres, three and four at a time.
