Hey i am 21, I am currently in California (as of- June 9th 2005) but i am moving down to the Last Vegas area shortly.
Here I was a drummer in a band, we played with a few decent bands such as- Jenoah, Kill Radio, This Providence...
I left the band just due to commitment issues of everyone else and due to the fact that my heart wasnt with drumming anymore.
Before that i was with a hard rock/metal band and played rhythm guitar... i had alot of fun. so i switched back to guitar recently.
When i get down there I am looking for other musicians who have the same influences as me or a band thats loooking for a rhythm guitar/background vocalist, rhythm guitar/vocalist.
i write my own lyrics, i am a big slow on writing guitar stuff but i can generally play whatever is put in my face without too much trouble.
i want to get something going or join something... anywhere along the lines of-
indie, emo, screamo, post hardcore, hardcore, metalcore, ska, alternative..etc.
i am not looking for incredible musicians, incredible bands but i am more looking for someone thats dedicated, someone that wants to make this happen. and basicly people/bands that are going to be able to put up with my getting back into guitar properly and getting back into the swing of things.
i have connections, i am good with booking...

umm this could be huge...
silverstein, armor for sleep, the ataris (old), saves the day, motion city soundtrack, jawbreaker, fallout boy, the matches, straylight run, from first to last, saosin, senses fail, thursday, taking back sunday, brand new.... then i am into stuff like- as i lay dying, it dies today, martyr ad, comeback kid, killswitch engage, hopesfall...

EQUIPMENT
i just got rid of my drums in order to make the move easier... right now i am using a-
brown sunburst fender telecaster, its a standard series. and a behringer line 6 ripoff 2x12 120w combo amp... dont let behringer fool you, it has good sound... besides, soon as i get settled down there its all mesa/marshall for me.
