Hi, I've spent my entire adult life as a full time musician,
I started playing in high school bands, and then spent 2 years as a music major in college.
In the late 70's I played in a jazz ensemble called Supercussion. This band performed concerts in large venues like LA Music Center and John Anson Ford Theater. At the same time I was playing in Rock bands playing in clubs around Southern California.
In the 80's I played in the Top 40, Rock, Dance band The LA Bedrockers. This was a very successful club band that played 4 to 6 nights a week up to 1991.
From 1991 to the present I have primarily worked with my wife in our duo Pam & Dave. In the duo I programmed the the backing tracks, while I played guitar w/ vocals, with my wife playing keyboards and vocals.
Through the 90's we played through out California, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Montana. During this time we played many Resorts and Hotels including Las Vegas, Laughlin, and Lake Tahoe.
We moved to Arizona in 1994. When our Daughter was born in 2000, we decided to mainly stay in Arizona were we continued to play in just about every venue and club imaginable. We have had great success working Retirement resorts and communities the last 10 years. We also performed in the Band Zen & Tonic, which was starting to get more jobs when Covid19 hit and shut things down.
Since the Covid pandemic, my wife has decided that she just wants to do occasional jobs, while I still prefer to keep playing.
I'm a very strong lead guitar player, and a decent singer. I do a good job selling songs that fit my style and vocal range. Songs like Walk Of life, Black Magic Woman, and Brick House. I have very good stage energy and personality, and look much younger than my age.
I'm looking for a band that's looking for guitarist, vocalist to do a few gigs a month.

For current bands, I'm a big fan of the LA band Dawes.
