ABOUT

I'm 61 Started playing as a teen and have been playing off and on since.I can pick up most of a song just by listening to it,like a lot of other singer/songwriters.I have concentrated mostly on writing original songs and even so i don't have a large amount.I started out with rock music and later wrote more country sounding music/it seemed to fit well.I think i still have a few songs on ://./gregeastwood8 and have recently have tried to better my musicianship on guitar because there is so much available now on the internet. Just checking back in and it's July 6th 20 , right now I'd be interested in jamming with anyone who is interested. I'd rather some players contact me and pick an evening or day to jam some and see what we're working with !!!!!? Or just for some fun
Especially for anyone who would come to my spot in the country in Gray's Creek ...... I'm getting lazy I guess. Peddle steel or do to might be easier to carry out here. Influences

rock n roll, rock,folk,metal ,country ... from Elvis to the beatles and the Stones to Merle and George,to todays country..........i like lots of different kinds but my writing tended to be more of a story telling type of music but i'm open to different styles. I was actually looking for someone who have similar likes as mine for writing songs together and possibly performing.

EQUIPMENT

My equipment list is very small......acoustic elec. guitar and an old amp, some mic stands and a couple of mics.Right now i'm in N.j but will be going down to N.C. by the spring 2017.
