ABOUT

A dual tribute to Hall and Oates and Huey Lewis and the News. A sprinkling of a few others that match the style and genre. Dynamic and high harmonies, tasty horns....etc etc.

This is a seed project at the moment. Ambitious given the number of skilled members needed to pull it off well. Just putting this out here to start thinking of the next steps. Goal would be working band playing regularly in the casino, main stage, festival, circuit in the NW. (Check out bands like Night Wave or Hair Nation)

Vocals - I can envision a great male vocalist that can range from Huey to Daryl, or dual vocalists male / female could be really cool for the Hall and Oates material.

Harmonies - enough players have to be able to hit those angelic falsetto harmonies.

Keyboards that can hit all the parts and fill in with horn patches as needed.

Sax - maybe with a harmonizing electronics to fill out the sound. Think "I want a New Drug". (Full Horn Section would be great later on)

Bass - So many intricate great bass lines in these tunes. Bonus if you can pull off looking like Mario.

Guitar - Looking GE Smith and Chris Hayes love child....power distortion, ripping solos, tasty clean lines... all of it. The right player could do it all, or lead/rhythm players.
