I'm a singer-songwriter, guitar player who is about to relocate from the NYC area to Simi Valley for work. I've played in bands for 20 years or so not really looking for absolute beginners. I'm 34 and looking for people in the area and in my age group (25-40: let's be broad) to collaborate with - gigging - recording - writing - band - all possibilities.
I have a nice home studio and I like to think I'm pretty versatile. No metal (though I guess I could break my old Ibanezes out of storage).....Edgy, dirty, crunchy rock/folk/pop has always been my forte. I have a master's degree in voice from Manhattan School of Music in NYC and I consider myself a pro level guitar player, so hired gun gigs are great too, but really just looking to make some music with like-minded folk.
