Cloven Skies was a solo project formed in 2006 by singer, songwriter, and musician, Reid Carswell born and raised in Florida. After graduating from Full Sail University with a B.S. degree in Music Business, Reid moved to the music capitol of the world, Nashville, TN. There, over the next 2 years, he wrote, recorded and mixed the album "Hope on the Horizon" in his home studio, for his two daughters in his home studio. After only 3 weeks of posting the music online, his inbox was filled with label offers, trending notices from online radio stations, top three notifications on and radio show and interview offers.
Cloven Skies has been featured on various online stations such as; The Justin Wayne Show, Beyond the Dawn Radio, Indie Radio Online and several other online stations with high ratings. In September of 2013, after selecting the label that had the best offer and the most friendly and supportive team, Cloven Skies joined the family of Tate Music Group and has started an aggressive dynamic and exciting tour with the first performance at the Hard Rock Café in Nashville, TN.
