have had stage experience in both performance AND set-up fields. i used to volunteer at a well-known venue in fort worth that had a pretty substantial amount of local talent as well as regional acts perform. i originally started out playing bass with a church in my hometown area in my late teen years up to around my mid twenties. this led to me being involved with a friend and his christian rock group for a short time. i also volunteered to run sound at the last church i was a member of after our band split up.
since that time i have only played bass in my own home in a practice setting and even noodled around with electronic music composition. you know...to keep the fingers limber and loose
