Hello,

I recently moved to New Orleans back in October and am looking to meet some musicians. I am currently working on writing my own songs and am looking for musicians (mainly a guitar player who can play blues/jazz/funk/americana/folk) who can help me with melody ideas for some of my lyrics and/or who are willing to learn my songs and play them at open mics, singer-songwriter festivals, or other smaller venues (obviously with COVID these venues aren't really likely right now but at the very least would genuinely love to just sing in park for tips or something at this point. Any outlet will do! :) ). My other goal is to record my songs and release them as individual singles or as an EP or full album on all streaming platforms. I am not super savvy when it comes to doing any of this. I just love to sing and have had it "on the shelf" for far too long. I am not opposed to doing covers either.
