ABOUT

We're a new psych rock band that also does some heavier fuzz jams and starting to get into cool effecty atmosphere jams. We're sorta in between names right now but we just had our first show at the wheel house/ clam jammers which went really well but we're looking to add a talented synth/organ/keyboard player to the mix. (We played the show as "Atlantis Electric Company" but might be changing it before our next one to a permanent name). Ideally it would be cool if you can practice in Narragansett at least once a week, hopefully more when schedules work out, and know your way around the keys. Our bassist drives down from providence so car pooling would be possible if your further up than Narragansett area. Also, no real age preference because the music is more important.

We're looking to record pretty soon but still got a bunch of originals to learn so if you think you might be a good fit let us know. To get more of an idea about us check out our influences.

Influences

Black angels, temples, dead meadow, neil young, tame impala, sleepy sun, white fence, white fence and ty segal, Crosby stills Nash, Jefferson airplane, country joe and the fish, fleet foxes, big brother and the holding company, Brian jonestown massacre, growlers, alt j, flaming lips, quicksilver messenger service, black sabbath (could go on for ever but my music tends to fall on the more neo-psychedelic side I guess) for existing bands my lead guitar style is more 60s psych rocky but love to play blues as well

EQUIPMENT

Fender hot rod Deville, fender satellite (crazy atmospheric effecty additional amp), various pedals. I live in a house in Narragansett where we practice and jam. My roommates are awesome and also play music so they are totally cool with spontaneous practices. We also have house shows with local and touring bands there that we'll play at occasionally.
