I am looking for a band that can have versatillity like Led Zeppelin had, I would love to be able to play any style we wanted and be better than anyone else out there. I am mainly looking to have a majority of hard songs, with some acoustic songs and then a mix of whatever kind of creative/different sounding music we could come up with. Recently I have been lsitening to a lot of Tool, Deftones, Chevelle and Rage, that is a similar direction I would like to go with the harder stuff, and then I've got some acoustic stuff that sounds pretty sweet as well, heavily influences by some of Jimmy Page's more obscure acoustic stuff like black mountain side/white summer but more songlike. For a rough example of some of my music you can visit ./jimmycreaturerock, all the guitar is me. I focus on trying to be a musician that plays the guitar and not a guitarist that plays music. I guess my main dream in music is not to just be in a band and play some songs, my ultimate goal would be to change genres, change the music world, like Zeppelin, the Beatles, Pink Floyd, Metallica, Nirvana all did and what Tool is doing right now. I more aim to compose songs rather than write songs, I don't feel like I need to follow any guidelines, but at the same time I like my music to make sense.
