Intermediate bass player who fools around with other instruments.
I'd like to form an alternative country band (outlaw, hellbilly, psychobilly, cowpunk, etc.). Hank III is a great example of the sound that I would like to create.
Obviously I'm looking for the basics such as vocals, drums and guitar, but I would also like to incorporate banjo, dobro/slide, and fiddle/mandolin and even some horns and piano/organ on some tracks. Even a screamer would come in handy for the harder hellbilly tracks.
I am also open to joining a group that performs original music of pretty much any genre short of what would be called "pop".
Unfortunately, I am currently living in an apartment so I have no jam space available.
