Six Gun Sons of the West is a concept country band. For those country folk who like to rock, it is an answer to the disappointing pop-country stars infecting the airwaves today. Six Gun Sons will feature heavy guitars, a darker sound, solid fiddle and lead solos, and even black powder revolvers as percussion instruments.
Six Gun Sons will be pursuing mainstream success. The band leader/frontman is an experienced performer and manager, adept at scheduling and marketing. While still in the forming stage, we are in the process of gaining representation and possible sponsorship. Many songs are already in the works, but we are seeking musicians from several different genres to create the heavy country sound we are looking for. Country angst, if you will.
Practices will be held weekly. Once the band is fully formed, local touring and recording will commence, with transportation provided.
*For those of you who are not of the country genre, please understand that rock is a heavy influence here. The music will be heavy, the beer will be free, and country chicks are hot, so keep an open mind!
