About me: 7 String Fretted and 7 String Fretless. I am a jam band / improv type. Musical influences include Spock's Beard, Porcupine Tree, Stevie Wonder, Tom Merello, Rush, Moe., Wide Spread Panic to name a few. Direct bass influences: Geddy Lee, Steve Harris, Phil Lesh, Les Claypool, Jaco Pastorious, John Entwistle to name a few. I am into all kinds of music. Love to jam in a dynamic jam band type situation. Jam band bit is not nessesarily a must but it's my happy place for sure. The real important bit is that it's a creative act where ideas are embraced and not squashed because we have to fit some musical mold. Just looking for a solid band to gig with from time to time, play great music and have a great time. Covers, originals, a mixture... All ok. I have been playing for over 40 years and have also been known to break out the old 3/4 upright for some jazz / blues jams from time to time.
I'm in Boulder Co, can practice and most certainly want to gig in the area.
