ABOUT

WiNO is short for the Will Nichols Orchestra. The logo is a chimpanzee chugging a bottle of wine. I play lead electric guitar and currently have 14 songs written. One-track guitar recordings of poor audio quality are here just to give an idea of the guitar riffs for each of the 14 songs. My e-mail is wtnichoinbox. We will need an electric bassist, drummer, saxophonist, trombonist, trumpet player, and charismatic and funny lead singer, preferably with a fairly low bluesy voice. The music is fun, energetic, heavy, gritty, bluesy, funky and riff-driven with a low-tuned and highly distorted electric guitar interacting with horns and quick and fast Bebop saxophone bursts and tribal rhythms and lots of improvisation. The lyrics are darkly comedic and tongue in cheek, often about drugs and crime.
