ABOUT

Voodrais plays and the eclectic mix of jazz, soul, pop, reggae, etc. We are interested in playing gigs and parties in Central and Northwestern Vermont. During the pandemic, three of our players moved away, so we are starting over. Currently we have vocals, guitar, trumpet and keyboard.

I have an excellent project studio to practice in and I'm a pretty decent engineer. We are interested in meeting new collaborators who want to work on our songs and also are interested in bringing their own material, and recording their own material.

In full disclosure, none of us are trying to make a living doing this. We are all lifelong musicians, and like to play at a high-level, but having a good time playing with friends is our primary objective.

Specifically we are looking for a drummer to round out a jazz/soul organ trio or quartet format. also interested in the right bassist, but not some thing that's essential to getting going.

EQUIPMENT

Well equipped project studio/rehearsal space (48 tracks).
I have an excellent inventory of drums, amps, instruments, etc., so players are welcome to show up and plug in.
